Cookie Policy

Superlurk keeps cookies to the minimum needed to run the service. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. This page explains the cookies we set and the third-party cookies that embedded content can set. It supplements the cookies section of our Privacy Policy.
1. Essential cookies
We use a single category of first-party storage that is strictly necessary to run the service:
- Authentication / session— a cookie set by our authentication provider that keeps you signed in, including on the anonymous guest account we create before you sign in. Without it, the product can't keep you logged in or remember your trial usage.
- Theme preference — your light/dark choice is saved locally in your browser (local storage), not used for tracking and not shared with anyone.
Because these are strictly necessary, they don't require consent — but blocking them will break signing in.
2. Third-party cookies from embedded content
Some pages can display content embedded directly from social platforms. When that content loads or you play it, the third party can set its own cookies, which are governed by that platform's cookie and privacy policies — not ours:

These embeds load on demand to show content you asked to see; we don't use them to track you across sites. If you don't load or play embedded content, those third-party cookies are not set.
3. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies specifically. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or using the product. For embedded content, you can also avoid third-party cookies simply by not loading or playing that embed.
